We are pleased to introduce Annika VanRossum to the National CooperativeRx team! Annika is joining the team as our administrative assistant and will provide administrative support to our Cooperative staff. Additionally, she will work closely with our operations team to ensure our organization functions efficiently.
Annika was raised in Madison, Wis. She attended Madison Area Technical College for political science and became an intern for a state representative at the Wisconsin State Capitol. During her time at the State Capitol, she discovered her fondness for administrative work in an office environment and decided to pursue a career in management. Annika managed multiple retail stores and recently worked as a warehouse lead for a food service management company. Annika stated, “I appreciated being a leader and molding a group of employees. It was rewarding to see my employees progress in their positions day-by-day and watch them achieve goals.” Annika also explained how valuable it was to learn to communicate with many different people in her previous roles. She is looking forward to utilizing her communication skills while working closely with National CooperativeRx colleagues and clients.
National CooperativeRx’s not-for-profit model caught Annika’s attention. “I’m pleased to be a part of a Cooperative that places members’ health and financial interests above their own. I respect the values of not-for-profit organizations and look forward to seeing how members benefit from this model,” explained Annika.
In her free time, Annika enjoys playing video games and has a room dedicated to gaming. Her gaming chair, multiple computer monitors, and large collection of video game consoles make it easy for her to play games for hours. Some of her favorite games are Disney Dreamlight Valley and Sims. Aside from video games, Annika loves to watch Marvel Universe movies in theaters and go to concerts. As a big One Direction fan growing up, Annika is excited to share that her next concert is Harry Styles.
Have a great time at the concert, and welcome to the National CooperativeRx team, Annika!
