We are happy to report that National CooperativeRx has been able to pay out over $39 MILLION to our members this year — and the year isn’t over yet.
The strength of the Cooperative continues to grow with each added plan sponsor. This strength is the reason we’re able to negotiate what is, in our opinion, the best contract in the industry.
In addition to our great contract, the nature of the Cooperative allows us to return 100% of rebates to our members. We also return 100% of money received from the annual claims audit performed on our PBM vendor, along with patronage dividends (money left over at the end of the year after our operating expenses have been paid).
Our numbers thus far:
Rebate True-up: $15.2M
Q2 17 Rebates: $12.2M
Q1 17 Rebates: $11.7M
We still have audits being performed and two more 2017 quarters to pay out in rebates.
