At the beginning of the year, we welcomed Adam Terrell to our account management team. Adam helps members comprehend their benefit plan data and advises them on ways to save money and add value. I recently caught up with Adam to get an update on his first 90 days at National CooperativeRx.
“I’ve finally started to figure out our complex reporting system — back in January, I never thought I’d be able to pull a report!” says Adam, referencing his greatest achievement so far.
Hailing from a commercial insurance background, Adam was excited to start at an organization known for its rapid growth and member satisfaction. “I’ve had several interactions with National CooperativeRx over the years, but it just wasn’t the right time. When my good friend Chris Schanz approached me about the job opening, everything fell into place,” he explains.
The three things that Adam enjoys most about his job are the company’s reputation, flexibility, and helpful co-workers. “I think everyone here is an expert in their field and that’s something I’m striving for as well.”
When asked about the best piece of advice he’s received so far, Adam says to always put the member first. “I completely realize the extent of my impact on a member’s bottom line and company culture. I’m eager to finish my training so I can officially have my own book of business at the Cooperative!”
When he’s not busy learning the ins and outs of the pharmaceutical industry, you can find Adam spending time with his wife, Erin, and their daughters, Elaina and Annaliese.
