National CooperativeRx is thrilled to welcome Brecken Albrecht to our team. As a sales and account associate, Brecken will assist our strategic account executives and clinical team with managing existing member and partner relationships. She will also be an added resource to our sales effort, assisting with groups considering membership in National CooperativeRx.
Brecken is from Polo, Ill., a small city southwest of Rockford, Ill. She attended Sauk Valley Community College where she graduated with her Associate of Arts degree. Brecken worked as a paraprofessional and secretary in Illinois schools until 2021, when she took her communication and critical thinking skills to Wisconsin. She then worked as a service center representative for a global claims administrator. Brecken managed the intake of medical claims and provided support to a large book of business. “It was a gratifying experience answering patients’ questions and helping them understand their medical claims. It was fulfilling to know that I positively impacted their healthcare journey,” said Brecken.
Brecken is excited to assist members with their health benefit needs. She stated, “I did not know a pharmacy benefits cooperative such as National CooperativeRx existed. I am eager to learn more about how its Cooperative model provides a unique experience to members.”
Working as a team towards one goal has always been something Brecken appreciates. She explained, “Gaining insights from multiple pharmacy benefits experts within the organization will be fascinating. I am looking forward to being able to share my new multi-faceted knowledge with our members.”
In her free time, Brecken likes to take her german shepherd, Duke, to the dog park. When she is not spoiling her dog, she enjoys kayaking, attending the farmers’ market, and exploring shops and pop-up events in downtown Madison, Wis. Soon, Brecken will be joining an ice hockey league. While she has never played ice hockey, she is counting on her years of roller-hockey experience to help her on the ice.
