Jasmine Johnston: Marketing Specialist

Staff profile for Jasmine Johnston

We are pleased to announce the addition of Jasmine Johnston to our Cooperative team! Jasmine is our new marketing specialist and develops marketing strategies that support National CooperativeRx sales efforts. She also collaborates with colleagues to coordinate brand awareness and owns the plan and execution of creative campaigns through multi-channel tactics.

A Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. native, Jasmine obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in business marketing from Edgewood College. “I’ve always been passionate about using my creativity to increase awareness and prosperity of a brand,” Jasmine says.

During college, Jasmine branched out into hotel marketing, where her role focused heavily on graphic design and event promotion. After the pandemic hit the hospitality industry hard, she was forced to transition to a dental company. “Although I enjoyed my coworkers and the company culture, my desire for marketing just wasn’t fulfilled in my previous job,” Jasmine explains.

National CooperativeRx intrigued Jasmine initially because of our not-for-profit status. “I admire the Cooperative’s honesty, transparency, and how the mission is always to better our members’ and participants’ health and wellness,” Jasmine states.

When asked what she is most looking forward to with her new position, Jasmine expressed her excitement to see our new website flourish (announcement coming soon!) and how our members and staff can successfully utilize the new features to make their Cooperative experience a beneficial one. “I am also eager to enhance our social media and find ways to increase our audience and overall impressions,” Jasmine says.

When Jasmine isn’t learning more about the pharmaceutical industry and brainstorming new ideas for our marketing strategy, she keeps busy by watching “everything on Netflix” and holding up her self-inflicted title of “reality television buff.” She also enjoys Wisconsin sports, board games, and trying new restaurants — her current favorites being Sweet Home Wisconsin, Everly, and Buck & Honey’s.
