Please join us in welcoming our newest Cooperative Board Representative!
Stan Zeyer, Chief Administrative Officer at Sunrise Engineering, was appointed to the National CooperativeRx Board of Directors at our Annual Meeting on May 16.
Sunrise Engineering has 20 locations and is headquartered in Fillmore, UT. Since its establishment as a surveying company in 1978, Sunrise Engineering has expanded its services to engineering, natural gas, GIS, building code, community development, and training services.
In 2003, Stan joined Sunrise Engineering as a Business Manager, supporting various departments and building trust among managers. Stan’s passion for human resources led him to be promoted to Director of Human Resources in 2006. For 14 years, he built out the HR department, developing policies and practices and expanding it into the four-person department it is today. Since 2021, Stan has been the chief administrative officer and often handles employee benefits and legal matters. With 20 years of experience at Sunrise Engineering, he is a source of information and helps mentor and guide the company to success.
Stan holds three degrees from Utah State University: a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources, a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems, and a Master of Science in Human Resources.
Stan has always been interested in employee benefits and determining ways to improve offerings for his company and its employees. He knows firsthand the frustrations of benefits not providing the utmost value and found National CooperativeRx to be a viable solution to his pharmacy benefit needs. Stan explained, “National CooperativeRx’s values aligned with Sunrise Engineering’s and was a win-win for both the company and our employees.”
“As a member of the National CooperativeRx Board, I am excited to be a part of the discussion on how we can improve processes and what we can do to find solutions in the market we are in,” stated Stan. He continued, “It has been fun to get to know my fellow Board members and listen to the thought processes of like-minded individuals. I look forward to determining what is on the horizon for our industry and how we can continue to provide good quality service and remove waste.”
National CooperativeRx’s CEO, Josh Bindl, stated, “Stan Zeyer was on our radar for some time as an individual who would be a great asset to National CooperativeRx as part of our Board of Directors. Mr. Zeyer has proven to be an engaging and thoughtful leader in the development of Sunrise Engineering’s benefit plan. We’re confident he will bring that same approach to guiding the future of the Cooperative.”
In his free time, Stan loves to be outdoors, camping, hiking, or riding his motorcycle. He also enjoys traveling and spending time with his family in Idaho and Wyoming.
We are delighted to welcome Stan as our newest Board member and are excited to see him thrive.
The Cooperative’s goals are always aligned with those of our members, as we are member-owned and member-governed.
