Kyle Kapusta, our director of sales and marketing, leads an interesting life inside and outside the office.
Here are some facts about him you didn’t know:
- Before the sales industry, I was a high school history teacher and coached football and baseball.
- I live in Fox Lake, a suburb of Chicago. To me, it’s the best of both worlds — a small weekender town, but just a train ride away from downtown Chicago. Fox Lake also has the most registered boats in the US.
- I’m a die-hard Chicago sports fan, especially the Cubs and Blackhawks. I try to go to as many games as I can.
- I’ve always loved to play baseball. I was a pitcher in college and made it to the College World Series my freshman year!
- My absolute favorite meal at a restaurant is pizza, and Lou Malnati’s in particular. Deep-dish cheese and sausage is the way to go.
- I’m probably the worst singer in the world. I try to stay away from karaoke bars for the sake of other people.
- One of my passions is traveling. Last year, I went to Munich for Oktoberfest. Before that, I was in Rio to watch my good friend wrestle for Team USA in the 2016 Summer Olympics.
- My next international trip will be to the 2020 Olympics in Japan.
- My first big purchase was a Ford Mustang when I graduated high school. I sold it a few years ago but want to get another one in the future.
- If I could be on a reality show, I would definitely pick The Amazing Race.
- I recently got Netflix and have been into a lot of their shows lately. My favorites are Stranger Things and Ozarks, although I can never resist an episode of Friends!
- I eat enough for a family of four, so I’m constantly cooking. When my friends come over, their special request is either chicken parmesan or biscuits and gravy in the morning.
- My guilty pleasure is ice cream! I can always go for some ice cream no matter how full I am.
